1 Down, 1 To Go
April 24th, 2009, late in the eveningWell, the kids are asleep, and it appears we’ve all survived the first evening with Dad. Here are just a few of the highlights:
- Liah got her finger pinched resulting in much pain
- Myan spit up all over himself and me
- We came home from eating out to see I left the freezer open
- I spilled milk in the car
- A toilet broke
- Myan got poop on his swing resulting in an unplanned laundry cycle
At that was just the first few hours!
Eventually, some semblence of controlled chaos was achieved, and the kids ended up laughing and smiling a lot. We’ve got a lot planned for the rest of the weekend… I’m clearly hoping they’ll be distracted by all the activities to not notice the lack of quality parenting.
