Going to the Book Store
May 14th, 2008, late in the morningI take Liah to the book store quite often. Not because I’m such a voracious reader, but because Liah can not get enough of it! The bookstores always have a train set for the kids to use, and Liah loves playing with it (maybe because her parents haven’t bought one for her!). If we’re lucky, we’ll meet up with friends at the bookstore, which is just what happened last week. Liah & I met up with my close pal Dimple and her boy Rohan. Of course, I immediately set about taking pictures and leaving the entertaining up to Dimple. The first pic below is of Dimple reading to the kids. Clearly they are both captivated.
Ok, maybe just Liah is captivated by Dimple’s storytelling abilities. Why? Well, this second pic was taken less than a minute later, and from what I can tell, Dimple’s reading had put Rohan to sleep. 
Actually, both kids were constantly getting distracted. However, I did learn one new thing that night. Dimple has ridiculously great posture. I mean, really, check out the pics again! If someone had taken a photo of me taking pictures, they would’ve captured me half laying down in a chair looking like I was trying to take a nap.
