Welcome to my weekly medicine regimen. It’s actually gotten worse since I took the picture. Those 3 red pills I use to take each morning have been replaced by 4 pills in the morning and another 4 in the evening! Sigh…at least I don’t have to deal with any afternoon pills. I owe this wonderful habit to my special companion, Ulcerative Colitis.
Here’s Liah relaxing in first class on a recent flight. I may not want to raise my daughter with a silver spoon, but I’ll gladly make an exception when it comes to flying. I think she has flown first almost as much as coach in the 2.5 years she’s been flying!
Well, it’s official. My lovely iPhone has gone to gadget heaven. At least I can say iMo, as I so cleverly predictably named my iPhone, died a quick death. This won’t surprise pretty much anyone who knows me, but after putting my iPhone in the pocket of my swimming suit (probably not a good idea in hindsight), I quickly forgot it was in their and jumped into a swimming pool. And to top it off, I was on vacation in Florida! Without my laptop! Actual words said by me the night before leaving, “Why should I pack my laptop Aparna? My iPhone does everything I need.”
Well, it’s way too expensive for my Indian genes to buy another iPhone, and Apple isn’t going to replace it under warranty (I tried. :smile:), so I’m trying to figure out what the heck I’m going to use in the meantime until a new iPhone comes out (at which point any attempt at self-restraint will fail.)
