Happy Birthday Aparna! (Yep, more February catch up). Above is a pic of us celebrating her b-day on the big day itself, February 17th. Snagabag Trivia: The only time I’ve ever gotten in trouble for something I have not posted on snagabag in the 3 and 1/2 years I’ve had this blog is when I never wrote an entry about Aparna’s birthday last year. Needless to say, I won’t be getting in trouble about that same thing again this year! (Rest assured I’ll get in trouble over many other things.)

Ok, so the Cowboys choked again. This despite having a standing room only crowd at Mowes Cinema! Nevertheless, we true fans never give up hope. Liah & I are already primed for next year’s Super Bowl.

This was the room I was given for my trip to San Jose last week. I always sorta assumed that all hotels didn’t have a floor number 13, room number 666, etc. Guess not. I’m happy to report that, other than the swarm of locusts, the room was perfectly normal.

So this is what life has become. I had a “guy’s night out” not too long ago, and the above photo represents the maximum craziness that ensued. Yep…my guy’s nights out have gone from, well, things guys do in their 20’s, to …ice cream. And we actually thought we were being pretty wild in ordering a fried banana split. sigh.

So I’ve still got a number of items from 2007 I want to blog about, so you’ll be getting a mix of the old and new as I get caught up.  Above is one of my favorite items from last year.  Almost a year ago, one of my dearest friends, Stephanie, came down from Dallas to visit, along with her two kids, Annona & Benjamin.  We had a great time.  However, it was months after they left that I opened the nightstand in the room they stayed in and found the below note.

Isn’t that great?  First, the idea that having an “adventure” while visiting us is even an option thrills me!  Second, the idea of writing it down as a personal to do is something that would never occur to me.  It’s just a reminder of how great kids are.
