I used the word ‘nincompoop’ today when talking about someone, and Aparna couldn’t stop laughing. Am I the only one who considers nincompoop part of their regular vocabulary? Okay, it hasn’t been part of my normal vocabulary for long, but I’m making a conscious effort to find more “kid friendly” replacements for my normal repertoire of adjectives.
