I voted this week, and it was the first time I particpated in “evoting.” Previously I had only used the infamous punch card ballots. I thought the evoting device is OK. The text was sometimes hard to read, and the user interface was a little flakey. It wasn’t a touchscreen, but rather a scrollwheel and enter key. However, the really frustrating part is there was no paper receipt. God only knows if the people I selected are the people the machine recorded. I don’t know if I was allowed to take photos, so I didn’t ask. Here’s what I placed my votes on:

Remember to vote this Tuesday! And be sure to vote for Democrats if you want an improvement in our sorry state of affairs.
