Maybe this is why I’m not in marketing…
I ready today the amusement park I went to growing up, Six Flags Over Texas, has a promotion that allows customers to skip to the front of the line for most rides. All the customer has to do is eat a live, 3-inch long, cockroach! Crazy! Is this really where marketing is heading due to the desensitizing of America? What’s next? “Sign up for our credit card, eat a bowl full of maggots and get 25,000 free airline miles!” Can you imagine? I’d never do that! Of course, for 50,000 miles…
