Dinner with Aggies

Aparna & I had dinner with some good friends (are any friends “bad friends?”) on Saturday night. Yes, that’s them on the left, and no, that’s not a picture of them on Saturday night. We dined at a very good restaurant, Scala’s Bistro, and had a great time catching up. We last visited with them at Shiraz & Maanasa’s wedding (aka 2004 Wedding #12), so we hadn’t seen them in a while. John is one of my few Aggie friends. I have nothing against Texas A&M graduates. It’s just hard to be friends with people who can’t form complete sentences. Thankfully, John is smarter than your average A&M grad.
Being old & boring, Aparna & I headed home after dinner. It was almost 10pm! Actually, I was (am) still feeling a little bit under the weather, and despite Aparna’s best efforts, she’s managed to come down with a little bit of a cold herself. Hopefully we’ll both be better soon!
